Cracking beer flavour and profile for a low abv... 👌
This 2.8% beer has plenty of flavour up front, but doesn't deliver that satisfying aftertaste of a full strength beer. However, I found that a squeeze of a quarter of a lime in the bottom of then glass before pouring added that extra zing in the aftertaste.... satisfaction!
Hi Lawrenty, we love this review! Even though it's three stars, we really appreciate you taking the time. It's always going to be a challenge to deliver the finish of a full-strength in a lower alcohol beer. While alcohol is not really a flavour, it absolutely does add 'body' to a beer, creating a warming sensation and a fuller feel on the palate. To compensate for the lower alcohol, we loaded this beer with hops to drive a big tropical flavour and aroma, and we love that you picked that up straight away. Love the idea of a squeeze of lime to add a little extra zing though as well! We'll have to try that!
